A position has become available for a Communications Manager to join our dynamic team. To develop and implement an effective communication strategy at SPAR KZN to enhance the brand, engage with both internal DC and retail stakeholders and ensure consistent professional communication across all channels. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Strategic communication planning and managing communication platform. Collect and collate information from all relevant stakeholders in SPAR KZN. Content creation and management. Publish approved content as per communication calendar and ad hoc business needs. Grade 12. Marketing/Public Relations tertiary qualification will be advantageous. At least 5 – 7 years of demonstrable experience in communication / social media management, monitoring, and public relations. Ability to think at a strategic level and strong creativity. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with ability to write social media content and review content drafted by others. Highly organised with the ability to plan, consistently meet deadlines and prioritise tasks. A proactive, flexible, and friendly manner with an ability to build strong, mutually respectful relationships with internal colleagues and external partners. General financial and business acumen.
