Position Objectives Administering the company's compensation programs. Responsible for accurately calculating, tracking, and distributing compensation payments to the Sales force based on predetermined performance metrics. Specific Accountabilities Administer the company's compensation programs, ensuring all calculations and payments are accurate and delivered in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Human Resources, to establish and maintain effective Compensation processes and policies. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's incentive plans, including metrics, targets, and payout structures. Collaborate with Sales Department to ensure accurate and timely data collection, validation, and integration into the compensation report. Perform regular audits and analysis of compensation data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or inaccuracies. Provide support and guidance to the Sales Force regarding incentive compensation plans, calculations, and payouts. Generate reports and provide analysis on compensation performance, including tracking individual and team performance against targets. Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends related to incentive compensation administration, recommending improvements to current processes and systems. Work closely with the IT department to enhance and optimize the compensation reports ensuring they are accurate , functional , and usable. Maintain accurate and confidential records of compensation plans, payments, and related documentation. Ensure reconcile control accounts in general ledger related to compensation plan are reconciled each month and all errors are resolved each month before closing off monthly reporting Track and monitor loan and advance payments so that all loans granted are recovered in terms of the signed agreements Ad-hoc projects to assess viability of proposed compensation plan changes Ensure the compensation policy and calcuation document is kept up to date for all changes Key Competencies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends or issues. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using compensation management software or systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost professionalism and discretion. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. Proven experience as a Compensation Officer/Analyst /administrator or in a similar role Knowledge of compensation plan design and administration best practices. Familiarity with sales compensation concepts, including quota setting, performance measurement, and payout calculations. Strong understanding of compensation laws, regulations, and industry standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
