Clicks is on the hunt for a passionate Compliance Officer to prevent loss and risk to the business through effective exception reporting to operations on key risk and to provide feedback relevant stakeholders as to minimize losses. To analyse data in order to identify exceptions, deviations, trends and highlight potential areas of loss and risk to the business for scorecard meetings and business/process improvement and rectify where necessary To provide timely feedback from exception reporting to relevant stakeholders on data trends and exceptions To ensure effective streamlined communication and support to stores To assist stores to adhere to SOPs and benchmarks by actioning in-store trends and areas for development To co-ordinate and maintain stock movement and balances in the DC to ensure accuracy of stock To ensure the efficient and effective compilation of and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for management review and record keeping To liaise effectively with other business units, internal and external customers to ensure the resolution of queries to meet DC and customer requirements To provide a Helpdesk support service for all inventory related queries (RemedyForce) To administer stock-take cheques and payments thereof To administer insurance claims (ito shrinkage) On a monthly, weekly or quarterly basis report on the findings of any discrepancies or violations with various stakeholders Must have a good understanding of the various audits to be performed in the DC Logistics environment which include but not limited to the following: Regulatory Compliance Audits Process Audits Documentation Audits Quality Control Audits Drop point and RTV (Return to Vendor) Safety/Environmental and Security Audits Job Knowledge: Business processes Business finance Business inventory management Customer Service principles Job Related Skills: Computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel) Communication skills Problem solving skills Facilitation and coaching skills Time management skills Change management principles Job Experience: Essential: Store Assistant Manager (1 to 3 years) Desirable: Store Manager Desirable: Inventory Clerk Desirable: DC Clerk Education: Essential: Matric Desirable: Relevant 3 year degree/diploma Competency Requirements: Essential • Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations • Following Instructions and Procedures • Analysing • Planning and Organising • Writing and Reporting Desirable • Presenting and Communicating Information • Coping with Pressures and Setbacks • Working with People • Applying Expertise and Technology • Achieving Personal Work Goals and Objectives • Deciding and Initiating Action • Adhering to Principles and Values Why Clicks: We look for customer-obsessed people with a “can do” attitude, that are professional and passion about their Careers.
