If you're passionate about engineering and ready to provide exceptional service in a fresh setting, we'd love to hear from you Job Description: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair compressed air equipment Build and manage compressed air distribution networks using various piping solutions Install, program, and service compressed air control systems Utilize job management software on PDAs for task management and documentation Provide technical support via phone to customers, office staff, and colleagues Perform preventative maintenance and implement field modifications Conduct final inspections to ensure job completion and equipment integrity Dedicate 10-15% of time to support sales efforts Identify and pursue sales opportunities including new contracts, renewals, and system sales Attend regular meetings with top 40 customers Collaborate with the sales team on outreach activities Visit local customers after job completion and during downtime Identify and nurture new sales leads among existing customers daily Streamline paperwork, documentation, and reports while adhering to established procedures Assist in preparing accurate installation and piping quotes to enhance job planning Skills & Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer (essential experience in the Compressed Air Industry) At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Compressed Air Systems (essential requirement) Solid grasp of electro-mechanical principles Knowledge of electrical systems, particularly 3-phase systems, is advantageous Valid Full Driver's License and clean driving record Demonstrated ability in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment Effective troubleshooting skills to resolve customer issues Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Qualification: A relevant degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
