Familiarise yourself and adhere with the relevant SHEQ Management system, policies and procedures that relates to the ISO quality management system and SHE policies, procedures, safe works instructions that are relevant company Familiarise yourselves with relevant SHE statutory and regulatory requirements applicable company that relates to your appointment as a SHEQ Controller. Ensure all planning and arrangement is done/organized for any external audits. Arrange and scheduling of SHE related training courses, with approved service providers. Arrange and or do induction training for all employees, sub-contractors and or suppliers. Arrange entry and exit medical examinations for employees as well as first, progress and final medicals for injured persons with relevant service providers. Arrange Quality Management System review meetings as per the requirements of ISO 9001. Arrange and conduct SHE Committee meetings. Assist with medical treatment of injured employees, completing of incident documentation, incident investigations and following up on corrective actions taken prior to closing of incident. Report all environmental incidents, i.e. spills, emissions etc., to your direct superiors. Ensure that samples of VPI resins and varnish are collected monthly from the VPI tank and sent to the relevant supplier for testing purposes. Ensure that all monitoring and test equipment is calibrated in accordance with the requirements documented in the relevant control/monitoring of measurement devices procedure. Assist all department managers / supervisors where necessary with the acquisition of any new instruments required in their areas of responsibility. Ensure that all calibration certificates received from NCS Laboratories and those created internally are correctly incorporated and captured onto the instrument calibration programme. Ensure that non-conformances raised by relevant departments are recorded, completed and incorporated into the non- conformance system Identification of possible resources needed to ensure the required quality of SHEQ related activities. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures as determined by the HR department. Remove any instruments from being used if the instrument is out of specification and cannot be repaired by an approved SANAS laboratory. Liaise with service providers/supplier on the status of SHEQ related supplies and/or services. Must have more than 4 years experience in a simlar role Relevant Safety Qualifications , SAMTRAC a must Must have own vehicle and willing to working overtime when required
