Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Reporting to Maintenance & Manufacturing Manager Main purpose of the role The role of the ECR Co-ordinator is to ensure that product changes (new product launches, product phase- out) are taken into account within procurements and production process. Essential responsibilities and duties As a ECR Co-ordinator, your main responsibilities are as follow : Lead and Control Engineering Change Request process Manage application dates of product modifications according to engineering change procedures. Maintain special relationships with program teams and Customer Define and assume the logistics conditions necessary for the launch of new programs. Ensure that changes are taken into account in production scheduling, material planning, and within physical flows: identify appropriate packaging and introduce changes concerning border production line procurements stocks and towards suppliers Manage phase out files: reduce obsolete stocks to minimum levels and reorganize file in order to obtain reimbursement from the customer Manage BOM & routing audit process Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate will have/be: Education: Diploma/Degree/Master's degree in engineering or similar Knowledge and experience : Experience in production in an industrial environment Good communicator/ team player/ customer focus Own transport and valid driver's license. Languages: Ability to speak, write and read the English language
