A leading telecommunications company is looking for an organised and attentive Credit Note Administrator to join their fast-paced and hard working finance team. Ideally you should have strong experience with processing AR and AP credit notes with a strong ability to work independently and manage deadlines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in liaising with and assisting both the operations and finance department The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude. You will be responsible for but not limited to the following. Credit Note Processing (AP and AR) Receive and review credit notes from various departments Perform AP and AR credit note recons Reverse incoming payments allocation Verify accuracy of accompanying documents Process credit notes according to company procedures Documentation and Record Keeping Maintain complete and accurate records for all credit note transactions File credit note documents for ease of access for auditing purposes Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding credit note queries and solutions Provide continuous process improvement to enhance the credit note function The ideal candidate needs to have the following non-negotiables: Relevant Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Admin or similar Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role Experience performing recons and debtors investigation Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPS etc) Ability to strongly communicate verbally and written Must have strong admin and organising skills Must have a positive, adaptable and hands-on attitude R18,000 to R23,000
