Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their esteemed law firm. This role is crucial in managing the firm's accounts receivable and ensuring timely payments from clients. If you are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a solid background in credit control within a legal or professional services environment, we encourage you to apply. Manage and maintain accounts receivable for the firm. Monitor client accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices. Communicate effectively with clients regarding payment terms and outstanding balances. Prepare and issue client statements and reminders as necessary. Work closely with attorneys and administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and payment status. 2-5 years of experience as a Credit Controller, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to credit control and accounting (e.g., accounting software, MS Excel). Strong analytical skills with the ability to work on multiple systems and handle large volumes of data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively. Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information appropriately. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience with legal billing software and electronic invoicing systems. Knowledge of legal billing practices and procedures.
