D365 Business Central Architect - Gauteng Perform as a Specialist D365 Business Central (BC) Consultant Architect in an architect-level role on new implementations and supporting existing implementations both at clients and internally. Consult to clients on the D365 BC and the Microsoft Eco-system, understanding where the product is going and how to map that to business requirements. Mentor team members and lead as an architect on a dynamic team and do hands-on architecture, design and consulting. Play a crucial role in shaping and delivering innovative solutions locally and internationally. Client facing position includes: Interact professionally and proactively with clients, taking responsibility for your own and your teams deliverables holding yourself and your team to exceptional standards. Facilitate meetings with clients and ensure excellent communications between all related parties at all times. Perform product presentations internally and to clients, guiding with the Microsoft roadmap and integration to other products in mind. Proactively manage expectations and outcomes. Analysis, Design and Implementation Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of the technical solution. Deliver on multiple projects simultaneously, integrating with various platforms including D365 Customer Engagement (CE), and other Microsoft platforms as well as app extensions. Engage in cross-platform integration to deliver comprehensive solutions within the Microsoft Eco-system. Perform gap analysis between a client's requirements and the functionality within Microsoft D365 BC. Gather, understand, architect and document client functional requirements. Analyse existing systems and programs, Define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. Recommend new systems or modifications to existing systems to address client requirements. Define the project scope. Configure system to documented requirements. Lead or be an active participant of a workgroup with the need for specialized knowledge. Ad-Hoc Project Management Documentation Interpret written requirements and technical specification documents. Generate design specifications for software development. Testing and Quality Review and analyse system specifications to determine whether all required elements have been included. Validate that the final product satisfies the defined requirements. Client Training Design, organise, set up and deliver courses to meet the needs of the client. Conduct direct training sessions for all staff on the software applications. Monitor, evaluate and review the quality and effectiveness of training, assessment and outcomes of courses delivered. Monitor, evaluate and review the quality of Guidance Videos. Sales and presales Assist in the sales cycle with presales support and demonstrations to clients. Provide input into proposals in terms of product specific information and timing and costing projections. Desired Experience and Qualifications To be successful, you would require the following: A sound knowledge and 12 years experience of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (and it's predecessor, Navision / NAV) and Accounting and Business practices and processes. Proficiency in Configuration and Customization of Microsoft Dynamics BC. Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Licensing. Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, interpersonal and team participation skills are a must. Understanding of Business Processes and End User Experiences. Microsoft certifications - MB-800 advantageous. Ability to work independently and take the initiative. Positive attitude of learning, teaming and a proactive commitment to quality.
