The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and ETL processes, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources. Implement and manage data warehouses and data lakes. Optimize data processing systems and ensure data quality and integrity. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources. Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Implement data security and privacy measures in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Document data processes, systems, and standards for internal and external use. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery). Knowledge of ETL tools and processes. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Skills Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in data processing and documentation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience: 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale data systems and solutions.
