Business Development Managers required to be based at our Cape Town and Bloemfontein Branch - Onsite position Maintain and grow Rectron client base through promoting and selling Rectron's DJI Agriculture product range. Outputs and Responsibilities Business Opportunities Identifying new markets, and business opportunities, grow and service existing customers Identify client markets and design a sales strategy to fit each client's requirements Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on future buying trends Train different sales teams on numerous Renewable consumer & industrial memory product range Complete all allocated training Target, GP, and Customer Breadth targets to be sent out monthly and approved Achieve exceptional ratings in client services Give regular training sessions to the sales internal and external teams Drive sales of product range, by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sale opportunities Once per month give a report to relevant parties explaining the strategy for the following month including weaknesses and measures Assist with quotes and orders Representation Represent Rectron at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets given Understand and successfully complete the sales cycle to meet monthly targets Relationships, Admin and Sales Provides Dealer with necessary product support and maintain the relationship between the customer and Service Follows up with work in progress to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt delivery of goods Responds to messages received through e-mail or telephone Take steps to ensure Messages are being responded to when not available Handles queries, issues, complaints, and requests Completes necessary administration i.e. faxed quotes and orders by keeping records Hold dealer awareness events for brand promotion Attend product training programs and study and know the relevant product range Escalate problematic issues to the Sales or Product Managers timeously Informing the database of new content uploaded on the intranet where relevant Selling key components as required by management or PM Manage Database of Credit availability and highlight problems to the accounts department Assist with other job-related duties as and when required General admin and upkeep of database General update and maintenance of all admin and filing Selling Strong sales ability Strong customer relationships Natural sales ability Motivation Motivated by additional sales Ability to work under pressure Well-disciplined individual Cold calling Education/Qualification Matric University degree with either a business or information technology background advantageous Experience (experience required for the job) Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales or business development manager (selling farming equipment or products to the farmers) or IT technical environment Exceptional customer service experience Computer Literate Skills and Competencies People skills Communication skills Management skills Administration skills Excel skills Extensive experience with retail accounts is an advantage Strong ability to work according to a time line and schedule Ability to work under pressure Well disciplined' and Honest individual Professional and Hardworking Strong Management
