Design and technical drawing drafting for predominantly solar photovoltaic and battery storage power plants. This is a key position in the EPC value chain and requires a highly organised and reliable member of staff.  Create technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations.  Develop and maintain drawings.  Develop and maintain drawing standards and templates.  Update technical drawings based on feedback.  Ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the design process.  Maintain change control procedures on Drawings.  Liaise with Project Engineers & Managers with respect to drawing and material specifications.  Develop and support Project Engineers & Managers with Bill of Material buildup  Administrative tasks normally associated with all Design and Draftsman functions. Other Roles & Responsibilities  ISO9001 Drafting works Process Owner/Champion  Administrative tasks;  Command of CAD software  Command of Excel;  Strong IT skills – MSOffice;  Basic database management;  Documentation and record keeping skills;  Technical understanding;  Excellent interpersonal skills;  Proficiency in the English and Afrikaans languages.
