Setup of drawings to the required project standard Compiling all civil engineering drawings Standards for all drawings and quality control of all drawings prior to submission to clients Gathering of information and project administration Assisting with the design of associated rail, road, sewer, stormwater and water infrastructure Building 3D surfaces from CSV, XML, contours, as well as other standard formats Manipulating surfaces for various information needs Slope and elevations analysis for surfaces Record keeping and issuing of all drawings for approval, tender, construction and as-built purposes. Suitable candidate must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle. Candidate must have accredited AutoCAD and Civil3D training. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Candidate must have a Grade 12 certificate Minimum 5 – 8 years' experience in drawings and experience in Civil 3D Experience working on linear transport infrastructure such as railways. Experience working on civil services will be advantageous. Civil 3D – Using data shortcuts, alignments, profiles, subassemblies, cross sections, basic quantity take-offs, compiling longitudinal sections and setting out data for all roads, building of road/rail corridors, setting up drawings that include all the relevant data required for construction.
