We are searching for an e-commerce business analyst to improve and maintain our e-commerce presence, processes, and support the sales function. In this role, you will be tasked with analysing key metrics about our business and its performance which you will use to generate insights and reports for marketing, UX, payment, and overall strategy. To ensure success as an e-commerce business analyst you should adapt at data mining, business intelligence, report writing, and process optimization. An adept e-commerce business analyst will also be knowledgeable on a broad range of e-commerce activities, such as SEO, website design, sales funnelling, conversions, and digital marketing. System development: manage the scoping, design and implementation of new ecommerce features and third-party implementation, ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements. System Maintenance: ensure the existing ecommerce platforms remain stable and as efficient as possible. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions. Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Manage and execute user acceptance testing on all new ecommerce deployments. Act as the first point of compliance for the online gift card and Halo voucher process, utilisation and audit. Improve business processes on existing ecommerce platforms. Act as the conduit between MoreCorp IT divisions. (CRM / ERP / POS / E-Commerce) Manage the reporting function of all ecommerce activities including Google Analytics, Google Display Network etc. Document all systems. Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance. Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements. Improvements in audience, acquisition, behaviour, and conversions. Transforming e-commerce data into operational insights. Researching competitors, alternative markets, and opportunities in the e-commerce space. Brainstorming ideas to enhance and transform the company's e-commerce approach. Developing e-commerce solutions in conjunction with marketing and IT personnel. Reporting and acting on changes and market trends. A bachelor's degree in business management, IT, marketing, or data science. A minimum of 5 years' experience in digital economies and e-commerce. In-depth understanding of web-analytic tools, such as Google Analytics. Knowledge of important e-commerce terminology and measures. Highly organized, analytical, and technically minded. Proficient in various data analysis techniques and procedures. Excellent report writing and presentation abilities. Able to orient data analytics insights with the end-user in mind. Professional, punctual, and goal driven. A team player with great communication skills. Attention to detail and results driven, ability to interpret and implement policies, processes and objectives.
