The staff member reports to the Manager of the Engineering Department and is responsible for performing all refurbishments on the Company units that comes to the Engineering Department. This includes maintaining their day to day duties efficiently. There may be a requirement to working in other areas of the Engineering Department. Job Profile All Company Refurbishments Provisioning and Firmware upgrade on Company units Packaging of Company units Preparing of Pre-packed Boxes for Company units Testing of Used wiring when clients wants to re-use Re-tape of refurbished brackets Holding stock room neat and tidy Boneyard dismantling Repair System Ticket Updates Simcard Allocation to units Education & Training Matric or equivalent Skills & Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office products Proficient and accurate typing skills Experience in Computer/Electronic hardware industry will be advantageous Soldering Experience will be advantageous Great attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality Be able to work creatively, independently and collaboratively as a team member and be able to multi-task and prioritize projects Excellent Oral and written communication skills
