Pulse Health is looking for an EN to assess, screen and conduct HIV Testing and Counselling to MSM, ensure HTS quality and ART adherence. They will also be required to ensure linkage to care of all HIV positive patients and PrEP clients. The successful candidate will work together with the outreach team and report to the Professional nurse. Provide pre and post -test counselling to MSM clients Mentor outreach teams on HTS, STI and PrEP screening. provide HTS to clients and refer accordingly. conduct IQC weekly and support outreach team when they perform IQC. conduct site visit and identify training gaps. monitor and report monthly infection control and medical waste disposal. support linkage officers and ensure successful linkage within 01 month of testing. train and support outreach teams on guidelines, SOP's. Attend at least 01 meeting with CBO's per quarter. Capture consent forms monthly Maintains referral, Linkage register and Report writing. Conduct quality assurance process for HTS. Perform regular quality control to ensure testing supplies are always in place. Conduct site visits to outreach teams and HIV Rapid tests to consenting clients. Enrolled nursing certificate 2 years of work experience in nursing and dealing with MSM clients RTQII Training and knowledge of national HTS guidelines and algorithm 2 years of HIV Testing and Counselling experience. Registration with South African Nursing Council Generic Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail. Non-judgmental, trustworthy and empathetic personality. Committed to treatment of HIV, STI and TB. Strong personality and work ethics, with an ability to maintain confidentiality. Works well with other team members. Excellent counselling and interpersonal skills. Ability to work non-traditional working hours, which may include weekends from time to time. Willingness to work after hours. Ability to travel as and when required. Ability to communicate in multiple languages will be an added advantage. Capacity to work under pressure, initiating action, professional knowledge and skills, decision making, respect for patients.
