Summary of essential job functions Quoting area specific export accounts Quoting all customers in appointed markets Reconciliation of area account debtors Back up / support of Export Controller when required Back up / support of Export Traders when required Booking of orders into SYSPRO & Export Procedure Credit cover application Marketing and Selling of full product range Reporting to Export Management: Country & customer visits / Trip reports Risk and cost analysis reports Market specific SWOT Expense reports Monthly sales reports Sales budgeting Account / territory / category planning Expense budgeting Strategic planning reports & implementation Proposal generation Ensure profitability of export department Customer service and relations Stock control Establish and grow markets Export file maintenance Customer file maintenance Communicate customer requirements to export / stores and manufacturing departments Sale presentations Minimum requirements Sound knowledge of export procedure Sound knowledge of country specific requirements (inspection, fumigation, routing, GSP, etc) Sound knowledge of Export Documentation Software Sound knowledge of SYSPRO Sound product knowledge Sound knowledge of sales technique Abilities required Full working knowledge of export department procedures, from inquiry to payment completion. Sound knowledge of export payment procedures (TT, Letter of Credit, Etc) Sound knowledge of company policy Sound knowledge of entire export customer base & customer specific requirements Sound knowledge of area specific export customer base & customer specific requirements Negotiation skills Planning skills Reporting skills Understanding of financial statements. Inherent Requirements: Matric and Relevant Qualifications 3 Years Experience Plus – French Speaking Essential
