Our client, a well known name within the hospitality space is looking for a Financial Manager to join their growing team. The role is best suited to someone who is proactive and driven on improving processes and current systems, someone who is passionate about upskilling the more junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present management accounts and financial reports, assisting with decisions and planning
- Cash Flow Management
- Manage the budget process and compile feasible, accurate annual budget
- Prepare and present cash flow forecasts
- Provide insight and analysis regarding risk, financial and operational implications, assist with decision making
- Manage and coordinate monthly payroll with HR
- Oversee annual financial audit
- Guide, mentor and upskill the finance team and other stakeholders
- Ensure the financial department supports operational teams to enable them to meet strategic objectives
Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary qualification
- Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry is essential
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively part of a team
- Highly numerate, with the ability to work well at both an operational and strategic level
