As a Financial Accountant you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial accounting, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting. Strong understanding of South African financial regulations and tax laws. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes. Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports for management. Oversee accounts payable and receivable. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings. Liaise with internal and external auditors. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
