An established Auctioneer company based in Somerset West is looking to employ a Financial Manager on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions up to trial balance, plus VAT Returns, SARS, Invoicing, Debtors & Creditors, Management Accounts and Reporting. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving abilities, have the ability work both independently and as part of a team, and must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Keywords: Finance, Financial, Accounting, Accountant, Management Accounting, Bookkeeping Full bookkeeping functions up to Trail balance / Balance sheet/ Income Statement Full Debtors & Creditors function Monthly Management account reporting Other ad hoc administration. Bank reconciliation. Month end planning. Monthly VAT preparation & Submission SARS correspondence General journal entries Monitor petty cash South African Institute of Auctioneers submission Property Practitioners regulatory Authority – Audit submission Auditors' correspondence Budgeting Cash flow management/ Forecasting /income Expenditure Monitor staff loans. Prepare Payroll Prepare and submit IRP501 submission. B.Com Finance Degree Recognized professional accounting qualification (i.e. SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA/ACCA/SAIBA) 3 to 5 years post qualification work experience. Must be able to function under pressure and to function independently Excellent communicator Own reliable transport A strong sense of responsibility Salary – R34k to R40k p/month, dependent on skills and experience.
