Job Title: Financial Superintendent Location: Mpumalanga, South Africa (Mining industry) Job Description: Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Superintendent to join their mining operation in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and activities of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing financial strategies to support the growth and profitability of the business. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management and control. - Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to monitor and report on the financial performance of the business. - Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents in compliance with regulatory requirements. - Manage cash flow, working capital, and budgeting processes to optimize financial performance and support operational activities. - Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks to the business. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights, guidance, and support for decision-making processes. - Supervise and lead a team of finance professionals to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of financial services. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CIMA, CPA) preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the mining industry. - Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and practices. - Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. - Knowledge of mining operations and industry-specific financial challenges (preferred).
