The GCE will also play a critical role in leading the execution of the restructuring of Eskom, including its proposed unbundling into 3 separate entities. -Key areas of responsibility: - Proactively shape the future of Eskom and ensure its financial and operational sustainability and results - Implementing the approved strategy, including the proposed unbundling of Eskom - Implementing a vision and strategic direction to meet evolving energy markets and technologies - Create an ethos of excellence and continued improvement in the provision of the highest levels of customer service within a dynamic market environment - Ensure strong governance compliance
