The purpose of this position is to manage and to provide a financial input into various functions in the business, inter alia, corporate finance, banking arrangements, reporting and business improvement. •Manage the financial statement preparation and distribution to the Financial Director, including but not limited to, consolidated profit and loss statements, balance sheet and cash flow statements •Monitor day to day financial operations within the group •Complying accounting and financial regulations •Preparation of monthly and annual management reporting •Responsible for business divisional reporting for actuals and all budgeted and forecasted periods, providing recommendation and assumption for allocations to be used in various accounting systems. •Assist with general ledger reconciliations reviews and provide feedback and recommendations •Develop and build standard reports and, where necessary prepare ad hoc reports ultimately driving for consistency for all financial reporting •Streamline and improve the monthly financial reporting cycle with an emphasis on improving systems, processed and all financial reporting to efficiently report •Reconciliation of data for actuals and budget/forecasts and variance analysis Behavioral competencies : •Be able to work independently and pay attention to detail •Display conceptual, analytical and strategic problem solving skills •Conflict management skills •Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines •Hands on participation required Minimum Requirements : •Chartered Accountant CA(SA) is mandatory •Excellent computer skills –Be proficient in MS Office excel •7 years experience with 5 years managerial experience
