Reports to : Technical Director About the Company: A leading company in the rubber manufacturing industry, dedicated to providing innovative solutions and premium quality products. Job Summary: The Internal Salesperson will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sales aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Customer Interaction: - Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email. - Provide detailed information on products, pricing, and availability. - Assist customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs. - Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Sales Support: - Process sales orders accurately and efficiently. - Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system. - Collaborate with the Directors and entire team to achieve sales targets. - Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals. (This is key) - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely order fulfillment. Relationship Management: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. - Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory. as directed. - Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.(This is also key ) Administrative Duties: - Generate sales reports on pastel & excel and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities. - Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and marketing materials. - Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques. Qualifications : Education : - Matric certificate required; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Experience : - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an internal sales or customer service role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector. Skills : - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Experience with CRM software - Strong organizational and multitasking skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - High attention to detail and accuracy.
