Hand Assembly Technician - Centurion
Independently perform assembly tasks following assembly instructions
Read and comprehend technical drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications
Pay extreme attention to detail
Assemble sub-components or parts onto the main PCBA
Thoroughly check work and correct assembly issues as needed, including standard rework tasks
Advanced rework tasks are reserved for employees with IPC7711-7721 certification
Maintain efficient work practices, using suitable tools and techniques to ensure high-quality assembly
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a SMD Hand assembly or soldering technician
Ability to identify components is necessary
Capable of working effectively under pressure
Solder 0402 size SMD components
Experience in soldering to IPC class 3 standard
Qualification:
Matric Grade 12 certificate
Possession of an IPC Certificate and prior experience in electronic manufacturing industry is a plus
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
