This role reports into the Country Head SA as well as the Global HR Lead. Minimum requirements for the role: A Human Resources graduate with 5 years experience in human resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Formulating and driving HR strategy for the local subsidiary – in alignment with business objectives of country. Hiring suitable employees within defined “turn around time”. Onboarding and induction of new hires. Driving engagement of employees. Designing and executing strategies for employee retention. Participating in workforce head count budget and HR cost and ensure they are maintained within budget. Revising and amending policies in consultation with Global HR lead. Handling conflict resolution and creating a political meritocratic culture. Ensuring performance discussion and act as moderator in performance discussions. Driving annual merit increase as per process. Overseeing, statutory compliances, payroll, attendance, time keeping.
