Lead hydrogeological conceptualization projects (Conceptual model development, ground water flow, head counting, source pathway-receptor understanding , surface water - ground water interaction)
Conduct hydrogeological technical assessments using 2D and 3D numerical flow and contaminant transport modelling skills
Manage ongoing work from existing clients, develop relationships with new clients
Coordinate staff and subcontractors, liaise with regulators, client contacts and control budgets and invoicing
Provide solutions from initial conversation to proposal to development and successful completion
Plan, write and review technical reports
Prepare environmental management plans, monitoring plans and consent applications
Work with senior scientist and engineers across the business on all the above
Conduct and oversee fieldworks
Job Requirements:
A Geo-science or Engineering bachelors degree, and ideally a post graduate or Masters degree from a well-recognised university in geoscience-related field, preferably with a specialisation/ focus in hydrogeology
7 years of experience
Competency in groundwater resource assessment and management and in GIS, databasing, GoldSim, Leapfrog and other industry related software
Competency in 2D and 3D numerical flow and contaminant transport modelling such as SEEPW, MODFLOEW, FEEFLOW
