Our client, an International Freight Forwarder based in the Upper Highway Area seeks an Import Forwarding Controller Receive new ex works FCA and FOB orders and pass them onto overseas agents for action Liaise with agents and customs to get cargo booked on sailings or airfreight to achieve required in store dates Quality control final order details with physical order confirmations to confirm all cargo booked as ordered Manage the selection of services (sea or air) to fit the requirements and quote / rates in place or if necessary offer rates to clients for consideration if not already quoted Quality control documentation and ensure all documentation is received and passed onto our registration team timeously Deal with queries and delays and liaise between suppliers, agents and consignee to achieve solutions where necessary Add all order updates to our cargo wise system and report on non-conformances or orders that will not meet deadlines For certain client work with their order books and inventory management systems to ensure all orders are in our system, updated and issues proactively assessed and solved Update tracking information until final documentation received and handed over to the operations team Matric 5 yrs experience in similar position Understanding of incoterms, ordering processing and shipping documentation.
