Description Minimum Requirements Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar role In-depth knowledge of South African labour laws (LRA, BCEA, etc.) Knowledge of South African labour laws and regulations, including experience dealing with the CCMA, Bargaining Councils and Unions Proven track record in managing complex disciplinary processes and investigations Experience in mediation, conflict resolution, and proactive problem-solving Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Responsibilities Manage and oversee all disciplinary processes Conduct thorough investigations into disciplinary matters, gathering evidence and interviewing relevant parties Prepare comprehensive investigation reports with clear findings and recommendations Guide Managers through the disciplinary process Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation and records of disciplinary matters Schedule disciplinary hearings with external Chairpersons, prepare all hearing/portfolio of evidence, and facilitate the process leading up to the hearing Provide detailed feedback reports to management on the outcomes of disciplinary processes and recommend improvements Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction Conduct regular "pulse checks" and feedback sessions with employees to identify and address concerns early Design and deliver training programmes on effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee rights and responsibilities Mediate conflicts and facilitate constructive dialogues between parties Conduct thorough investigations into grievances, documenting all findings and evidence Prepare detailed grievance investigation reports with clear conclusions and recommended actions Provide feedback to management on grievance trends and suggest proactive measures to address recurring issues Manage the probationary period review process Conduct regular check-ins with new employees and their Managers during the probationary period Provide guidance on performance expectations and offer support to ensure successful integration of new hires Facilitate final probationary review meetings and recommend appropriate actions Provide regular updates and training to Stakeholders on labour relations matters Represent the company in conciliation and arbitration hearings when necessary TO APPLY: Only if you do meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
