Phakisa Hodings is looking for Industrial Spray Painters in Benoni area: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers as needed. Mix and prepare paint and other finishing materials according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines. Operate spray painting equipment, including spray guns, air compressors, and paint booths, to apply coatings evenly and efficiently. Inspect finished surfaces for quality, ensuring adherence to color and finish specifications. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of spray painting equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize exposure to hazardous materials. Read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and work orders to understand project requirements and ensure accurate application. Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks, report progress, and address any issues or concerns. Keep work area clean and organized, ensuring proper disposal of hazardous materials and adherence to environmental regulations. Proven experience as an Industrial Spray Painter or in a similar role. Knowledge of various spray painting techniques and equipment. Understanding of paint mixing and application processes. Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to industrial painting. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work orders. Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve a high-quality finish. Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including standing for long periods and working in confined spaces. 2 -3 experience in engineering industry Must have Grade12/Matric Experience on Stone Cor Paint ptoducts R68 Per Hour
