We are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Intern to join our dynamic team. The talent acquisition intern will be responsible for the process of identifying and acquiring skilled workers that meets the organizational needs, while building a talent pipeline for the group of companies. HR related diploma/degree Registration with the SABPP (not a compulsory requirement) Valid Unendorsed Code EB Driver's License (previously Code 08) Intermediate computer literacy skills (MS Office) Proficient in using social media, recruitment platforms and professional networking (i.e. LinkedIn, etc.) Proven work experience as a talent acquisition or similar role Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and assessment methods and tools Experience in interviewing and assessment methods or tools Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends Business acumen Competencies Strong communication skills Active listening skills Excellent negotiation skills Excellent presentation skills Strong interpersonal relationships / candidate experience Strong mindset for sourcing and engaging talent Proficient in data analysis Highly motivated individual with strong self-management skills Good conceptualisation skills Problem-solving skills High level of trustworthiness and ethical decision-making Results driven All duties take place in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies and procedures: Analysing the group of companies' hiring and talent needs to anticipate hiring Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by departments Create job specifications, job adverts and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position Create job descriptions and performance contracts (as and when necessary) Manage end to end candidate selection process by sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interview scheduling and interviewing. Complete reference checks Manage job posts through the manual applicant tracking system Recruitment related administrative work for all successful applicants (i.e. verification checks, offer, etc.) Build a passive candidate pipeline to enlarge the talent pool Actively align succession plans, development plans and talent pipeline Craft the employee value proposition Assist in building employer branding initiatives Organise and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline Research talent acquisition trends to improve the process Maintain records of all documentation used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork Reporting: monthly, quarterly and annual reports Assist with special projects as needed by the HR team Assist with and perform administrative tasks Market Related Apply Now
