The criteria is as follows:-- Candidates must have completed a 3-year tertiary qualification (i.e. Degree or National Diploma in HR, Business Administration or Law).
- Candidates must have a sound knowledge of B-BBEE Legislation.
- Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet.
- No criminal record.
- Candidates must currently be unemployed.
- Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program.
- Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) relocation is NOT an option.
- Candidates must be under the age of 35 as at 1 July 2024.
- Candidates must be a South African Citizen African, Coloured and Indian.
Competencies/Skills Required:-- A natural affinity to administration tasks, and detail orientated
- Good communication and computer literacy skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Methodical, analytical and deadline driven
- Ability to work in a team, with the willingness to put in extra effort and time when the team is under pressure
Duties/Responsibilities:-- Provide secretarial support to Seniors for the preparation and successful execution of their responsibilities
- Support the flow of information within the department, ensuring that matters requiring attention are handled speedily.
- Collate, compile and distribute documents to the required standards within defined time-frames.
- Attend to ad hoc departmental matters.
- Assist with coordination of training programmes related to any skills development initiatives
- Arrange and communicate the logistical arrangements with delegates, line managers and facilitators
- Supplier onboarding (contacting, document requesting, following up on outstanding requests, saving of documentation on central network etc)
- Assist with data compilation for BBBEE verification
