Purpose of job To safely and effectively manage the Store/ Inventory system to ensure the optimal inventory levels and distribution of spares to fulfil daily production and maintenance needs. The Job Raise purchase requisitions for catalogued and non-catalogued items, assist buyers in ordering accurate merchandise and supplies, and deliver orders to required departments. Responsible for conducting monthly cycle counts and physical inventory in time assuring KPIs are met, driving inventory integrity. Maintain inventory, and use Microsoft Dynamics to initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock below the agreed minimum stock level. Update the procurement team on the status of stock to avoid stock-out. Continuous internal communication with the direct line manager and key stakeholders. Identify, report and resolve any inventory compliance issue. Analyze data to anticipate future needs and perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems. Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards and training. Experience: At least 3 years experience in a similar role. The Person must: Have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be numerate and possess analytical skills. Be detail-oriented and result-driven. Possesses high inventory control skills and data entry abilities.
