Investment Administrator (Life Admin) (Temp to Perm) - Cape Town City Centre
Key responsibilities include:
Preparation and processing of all client transactions (investments, repurchases, debit orders etc.) for Collective Investments, LISPs and Life Assurance companies.
Processing of any instructions relating to broker appointments or changes.
Processing of any policy holder changes, particulars, etc.
Processing of Pension and Provident fund transfers.
Processing and managing of Living Annuity transfers (Section 37) and Retirement Annuity transfers (Section 14) between product providers.
Managing annual income renewals for Living Annuities.
Recording of client transactions on portfolio management system.
Periodic investment valuation updates on portfolio management system for client reporting purposes.
Managing broker queries for clients' investments with product providers.
Back up support for colleagues, as required.
Key requirements for applicants:
BCom degree or equivalent diploma.
Computer literacy a necessity: including MS Excel (intermediate).
Experience with CRM system would be advantageous.
Previous experience in similar function preferred, with proven track record.
Previous investment administration experience minimum of 3 years required.
Accurate and deadline oriented.
Ability to work additional hours over quarter-end a requirement.
Good communication skills and works well within a team.
