My client is looking for an IT Operations Engineer based in Cape Town. Responsibilities: Maintain safe and healthy working environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures based in corporate IT policy Provide technical support, troubleshooting and resolving network and system operational problems Develop operational solutions and assist in the development and maintenance of operational standards and procedures Perform vendor management Perform non office hour support if required Ad hoc duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Degree or above in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related discipline 3 years' experience in IT Operations Hands-on experience in managing IT production systems Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in supporting Microsoft Office, Active Directory, O365, Office LAN/WAN network, Phone system Basic understanding of database and Cloud technologies Hands on and working knowledge of scripting technologies Experience on vendor management Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibilities Good communication skill and good command of written, spoken English Willing to work flexible working hours Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role Salary of R50 000 CTC per month
