As an IT (Information Technology) Sales Consultant, you'll be selling hardware and software products and IT solutions as part of a sales team. You must have a good command of the english language and a good telephone manner. Must be able to generate sales, develop relationships with new clients, make sales visits, maintain advanced knowledge of products and services, and establishes and meets sales goals. Recommend and select products for customers based on their individual needs Describe products and explain their benefits and uses to potential customers Communicate with customers in person, by phone and by email. Update and Maintain a working knowledge of the company's various products and services Establish and nurture relationships with past customers and potential customers Find potential customers through networking, cold calling, and industry research. Complete administrative tasks- processing and recording sales. Conduct presentations to demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of our products. Research products and establish sales potential with new businesses Determine new ways to make products appealing by observing the environment and current trends. Strong negotiating and selling skills. Be well-groomed and presentable. Have valid drivers licence and own reliable transport. Have excellent people skills and intuitive to client's needs. Be fully bilingual (with a third African language being beneficial). Able to work under pressure and be target driven. Being computer literate in software such as Microsoft Word/Excel. Minimum Two years Experience with IT Sales and Marketing, Proven track record in sales Experience in developing leads and researching potential clients Knowledge of Relevant Products and Sales Written and Verbal Communication, Interpersonal Communication (Comfortable meeting clients) Negotiation, Critical Thinking, Ability to Meet Goals, Ability to Work Under Pressure, High Energy Level, Motivation, Ambition Technical Skills A, N (will be an advantage) Familiarity with IT products in particular Microsoft Products. Time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and close sales in a timely manner Willingness to adapt and implement new marketing strategies and sales methods Quick thinking to provide creative solutions that address customers' needs and concerns Attention to Detail R15000.00 to R25 000.00 Gross per month for the right candidate with Sales Commission above the sales threshold Medical aid and Provident fund optional Travel allowance - km's travelled Cell phone allowance included in package.
