Our mining client based in the Northern Cape seeks to appoint an IT TECHNICIAN with responsibilities for maintaining network hardware and software infrastructure; provision of effective and efficient IT technical and IT device support including access control infrastructure and ensuring user information security, which includes Access / CCTV support / IT support and technical services / Technical security support
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12
- COMPTIA A+ Certificate in Information Technology
- COMPTIA N+ Certificate in Information Technology
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Microsoft Integration Technology Professional Certificate in Information Technology
- Minimum of three (3) years operational networks and technical support experience
- Advanced knowledge of XP Operating system
- Formal training in MCSE Basic Server Module and Basic Active Directory Module
- Advanced knowledge of CCTV and access control equipment installed at mine
