Job Description

The purpose of this position is to plan, develop and implement effective marketing strategies to effectively reach customers, partners and end users to communicate the value proposition of the product and influence the market share thereof. The end goal is to maximise profits and generate pipeline and opportunities through effective strategies and plans to promote the Products and Services of your Vendor.

Responsibilities :

  • Effective management, oversight, and representation of assigned product brands, ensuring branding guidelines are adhered to.
  • Create and implement quarterly/annual marketing plans aligned to product and business objectives.
  • Drive lead and pipeline-generation activities for your assigned products
  • Manage and oversee all product-related marketing campaigns.
  • Develop external and internal communication strategies to drive awareness around product, news, developments, and new services/offerings.
  • Management of website content keeping it updated and relevant
  • Creation of product-aligned social media content on weekly basis for assigned products.
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Reports on campaign performance and results
  • Analyse client profiles according to market segmentation
  • Manage the marketing budget within the restricted spend and update management monthly.
  • Manage suppliers/vendors: Ensure B-BBEE supplier restrictions are adhered to and ensure compliance on all spend and activities.
  • Manage and report on ROI for all marketing initiatives.
  • Management of MDF funding and submission of claims on time
  • Generate post-event reports on all campaigns.
Qualifications

3 year Marketing Management/Communications degree essential.

Skills

Experience in Marketing automation tools - Eloqua or similar. At least 5 years experience in similar role ideally within IT Managed services. Knowledge of B2B strategies and tactics from Enterprise to SMB markets. Experience with research methods using data analytic software. Experience in developing marketing plans and managing marketing budgets and marketing development funds processes. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
