Job Summary: The Junior Compliance Administrator will support the compliance team in ensuring that all property management activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance processes and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of compliance-related activities. Key Responsibilities: Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and reviewing property management activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Support the implementation of compliance programs and policies. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance-related activities. Ensure that all compliance documentation is properly filed and accessible. Regulatory Research: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Assist in researching and interpreting regulatory requirements. Communication: Liaise with internal departments to ensure compliance requirements are met. Provide support and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the compliance team. Assist in drafting notices and warnings, preparing meeting packs, and taking minutes. Matric or equivalent; additional qualifications in law, business administration, or related field preferred. Previous experience in a compliance or administrative role, preferably in property management, is an advantage. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Working Conditions: This is a full-time position based in an office environment. Occasional travel to property sites may be required.
