Junior developer (Graduate) - Johannesburg
• Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
• Reviewing current systems
• Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
• Producing detailed specifications
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Preparation of training manuals for users (where applicable)
• Maintaining the systems once they are up and running
• Working directly with the UI Designer to implement designs rendered with the highest precision and detail
• Work with development team on technical issues including software system design and maintenance
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
• Report directly to the team leader for any queries or updates
• Participate in weekly update meetings
