WASTE MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY

Salary: R35K R45K, depending on experience
Our client in the Waste Management industry is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee existing contracts and key accounts, as well as manage, present and report on all clients on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
- Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
- Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal team
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients needs
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
- Stay up to date with new product launches/ Waste management Solutions
DUTIES/TASKS
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Analysing client data to provide valuable feedback and propose solution to challenges
- Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor feedback
- Highly goal-oriented, assertive and a hands-on problem solver
- Analyse and draw inferences from data
- Weekly Planning and Reporting of Key client meetings and feedback
- Yearly forecast of New developing key accounts based on Sales potentials
- Adding existing clients to key account structure
- Building monthly reports from available date of web portal
- Signing off and presentation of monthly reports done by Aftersales department
- Liasing with Sustainability department on new projects and project timelines
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
