Full job description Purpose · Responsible for ensuring Washing and Drying of garments to various finishes, executed in a timely manner and within all quality parameters · Provide leadership and people management Critical Results: Ensure washing and drying of garments to various finishes, executed in a timely manner and within all quality parameters Improve and increase staff’s output, ensuring that daily and weekly targets are met Analyze production standards & workflow to anticipate potential problems, eliminate bottlenecks and make changes as needed Good and effective communication with the Finishing Manager and other Supervisors as well as with your team Ensure good record keeping and reconciliation of all PO’s, following Levi’s Compliance Absenteeism, disciplinary and performance management of staff Housekeeping standards implemented, monitored and maintained Delegate tasks effectively to subordinates and ensure successful completion · Ensure training of all new staff & upskilling of operators via on-the-job training · Follow and support the ISO, Health and Safety and Quality systems · Complete administrative Supervisory duties · Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience · Grade 11-12, with relevant measurable work experience · Preference to candidates with additional studies in a related field · Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees · Ability to read, analyze and interpret production documents · Responsible, self-motivated and independent · Good interpersonal understanding · Understand how the team function influences results · Excellent problem-solving skills · Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure · Strong planning and attention to detail, ability to multi-task · Good understanding of quality standards Basic computer literacy – email, word, excel – is essential Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s): Do you have experience in colour matching apparel?
