Our client in the Agricultural Industry, requires the service of a Logistics Manager who will provide specialist input into the optimization of the company's logistics and supply chain processes. Key Performance areas: Conduct research, develop proposals and recommend best practice solutions to address key logistics and supply chain challenges Ensure efficient execution of the supply plan by managing and monitoring the processes for bin logistics and pallet loading Oversee system transactions and manage information to ensure data accuracy and report on progress against set targets. Manage a team of experienced stock and logistics personnel Oversee health, safety and security systems and processes to ensure compliance to relevant legislation Review and analyse various supply chain and storage processes to enable process optimization The successful candidate must have: Matric with a Degree/Diploma in Warehousing, Logistics or Operations Management Minimum of 3 – 5 Years' experience in a logistics management role, preferably in a fruit packaging environment Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in an organized labor environment Must be computer literate and have good knowledge of systems Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within an organization Must have effective leadership skills Please note that only short listed candidates will be contacted.
