Our client is looking for an individual to lead the maintenance function in the safe and cost effective execution of maintenance and project work - to improve availability and reliability of plant and equipment.

Requirements:

Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mech or Elec)
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an automotive environment

Duties include:

Sheq - facilitate the management of a safety, health and environmental management programme in the workplace (ISO14001 and ISO45001)
Quality management system - Manage and implement the Maintenance Quality Assurance systems
Policies and procedures - initiate, develop and update Maintenance Policies, Procedures, Codes of Practice etc
Financial Management - provide input into the budget process, monitor performance against budget, promote good Corporate Governance
Customer and supplier liaison
Maintenance Management - analyse and interpret planned maintenance reports, analyse and interpret breakdown reports. Diagnose plant and equipment problems. Upkeep of general facilities and utilities
Maintenance Planning
Maintenance workshop - ensure effective management of the maintenance and fabrication workshop
Project planning
Manage implementation of engineering projects
Analyse maintenance reports
