Our client is looking for an individual to lead the maintenance function in the safe and cost effective execution of maintenance and project work - to improve availability and reliability of plant and equipment.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mech or Elec)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an automotive environment
Duties include:
- Sheq - facilitate the management of a safety, health and environmental management programme in the workplace (ISO14001 and ISO45001)
- Quality management system - Manage and implement the Maintenance Quality Assurance systems
- Policies and procedures - initiate, develop and update Maintenance Policies, Procedures, Codes of Practice etc
- Financial Management - provide input into the budget process, monitor performance against budget, promote good Corporate Governance
- Customer and supplier liaison
- Maintenance Management - analyse and interpret planned maintenance reports, analyse and interpret breakdown reports. Diagnose plant and equipment problems. Upkeep of general facilities and utilities
- Maintenance Planning
- Maintenance workshop - ensure effective management of the maintenance and fabrication workshop
- Project planning
- Manage implementation of engineering projects
- Analyse maintenance reports
