Responsibilities:

Implementing and managing maintenance strategies across our factory
Leading and managing the maintenance teams task load, performance, and work quality
Working closely with the Production Manager to ensure manufacturing KPIs are achieved
Strict stock management of critical spares, as well as managing the control standards of the workshop equipment
Implementation and planning of preventative maintenance schedules
Manage and accountable to annual repairs and maintenance budget

Requirements

Matric Certificate
Relevant tertiary qualification/trade
5+ years in a similar role and industry
Good understanding of mechanical concepts: Pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, UHT systems, boilers, generators, etc.
Willingness to work long hours on ad-hoc basis
Strong project management skills
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Strong analytical problem-solving ability
