Intercape is looking to recruit and employ X2 Maintenance Officer Assistant:SENIOR to employ at their Pretoria West Depot Maintenance Management Assist with maintaining all offices and grounds for the entire Intercape Group in terms of building, electrical & water; Manage the disruption of water and electrical supply; Ensure buildings, properties, facilities, and equipment is in good physical condition and appearance; Ensure buildings are maintained; Maintenance to be done timeously; To assist with upgrading of sales offices To oversee full project in the absence of Manager; Construction work - Oversee work to be completed with the approval of the Manager; Provide Maintenance support to Depot over weekend, as per maintenance roster Supplier Management Assist with sourcing quotations for any related maintenance or new construction work Obtain relevant quotation from preferred suppliers Arrange quotation sign off by Maintenance Manager Capture quote on MOVE for approval Follow up on payment in order to commence with project Quality Control Quality control of all maintenance and construction jobs after project completion Oversee work of staff members to ensure all tasks were completed Comply with Health & Safety regulations Ensure contractors on site adhere to health and safety standards Ensure all staff members comply with all the Health and Safety regulations Effective utilization of all systems Log all related information on company system as required by policy. Understand all company system available and value that can be gained from these. Ensure internal white boards are maintained and reviewed. Responsible for effective utilization, accurate capturing, and thorough record keeping on all systems relevant to perform daily tasks within department. Capture and ensure effective and thorough record keeping on the Move system. Capture and ensure the correct information is loaded and reflects accurately on the Move system and all other relevant systems in department at all times and on a continuous basis; Responsible to ensure that you have received training on all relevant systems for department or have provided training to direct reports. Qualifications: Grade 12 Own transport is essentail Experience: Recognised Qualification as Mechanic and or Electrician Minimum 3 – 5 Years' experience in Mechanical / Electrical / Maintenance environment Knowledge / Abilities : Proficient knowledge of the company, its divisions, associates, people, products, terms and conditions, and services Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Enjoy working independently as well as be part of a team. Assist fellow colleagues in the daily running of company related tasks. Be focused on providing work of an extremely high quality. Very good organizational skills. Skills: Electrician / Mechanical qualification advantageous. Minimum 5 years Supervisory experience in a Maintenance and/or Technical Environment Knowledge of the Operational Health and Safety Act. Valid Code 10 or 14 driver's license.
