Phakisa Holdings are looking for a Maintenance Operator: Mechanical - Alberton R74 P/H Assist with repairs on gas pipeline equipment during normal and emergency conditions General Route Maintenance (e.g. installation of markers, manual concrete pouring, mix crete), etc. Pipeline and customer station inspection including gas testing and reporting of deficiencies Vehicle custodian - pre-travel inspections, vehicle care Forklift Operation (license required) Overhead Crane Operation (license required) Assist in commissioning and decommissioning of pipeline and stations including during emergencies Assist in isolation of a station Assist in venting the station Assist in major service of stations Assist in refurbishment of slam shut valves, meters, axial flow regulators and gorter regulators Assist with scheduled maintenance Installation of markers (including block markers) Use of basic hand tools Painting Excavate to pipe using pick & shovel/spade Monitor third party activities and HCA Use of a Gas Detector Houses keeping Assist with general pipeline maintenance Grade 12 with Maths, English & Science or N3 with Maths & Engineering Science NQF Level 2 Occupational Qualification Advantageous Driver's license Code C1 (old Code 10) Relevant years of experience in the field Maintenance Operator: Mechanical - Alberton R74 P/H Apply Now
