Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality polyurethane products, in the chemical industry is looking for a Marketing Assistant. A role that requires a unique blend of skills encompassing marketing, and data capture, tailored specifically for the company's group of brands. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for updating and managing the databases within the companies IP. Capturing all third-party project reports and updates from relevant team members. Post event mailers, after an event capture and update databases. Passing on any additional requests to relevant people Update the POPIA databases Capture all internal lead generation enquiries (SpecTool, Colour-Wheel, Quote Tool, Applicator requests etc.) Online event registration, capture, filter, and report General marketing admin work Population and generation of reports on databases effectiveness Social media, understand the basis of Meta and how to utilize their cross platforms abilities. ADHOC requirements will be instructed in line with marketing and sales requirements. Technical Data Sheets (TDS), updating or creating new TDS. Data will be supplied by Technical Managers or Development Chemists Arrange contractors' workshops. Support the National Marketing Manager in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analysing set objectives, planning, and organizing promotional presentations, and updating event details. Good communication skills, Strong admin skills, Self-starter, Analytical, Attention to detail, Strong management skills and Able to work alone Marketing and promote the internal and external showrooms of the group Focus on creating awareness to selected target audience Experience Experience in Building Construction 5 years' experience as a marketing assistantC Computer literate (Adobe, Microsoft office and Outlook) Adobe package experience essential Graphic Design Social Media Marketing Own transport Valid driver's licence Qualification Matric Microsoft Office and Outlook – fully familiar (PowerPoint, Excel Advance and Word) R 15 000
