Our client a leading commercial franchise tyre fitment supplier, seeks to appoint a Marketing Assistant to their Head Office marketing team. The successful incumbent will have a marketing qualification and a minimum of 3 years experience within a brand / marketing management environment, coupled with event, social media marketing and content development experience. Previous exposure to franchise operations will be an added advantage. Assisting the Marketing Manager with event management, social media content, advertising stores management as well as admin and secretarial duties. Responsible for organising and coordinating of internal and external marketing events. Responsible for creating and managing social media content on various social media platforms. Responsible for the of the Marketing/Advertising Store which entail stock management, Invoicing and database management. Responsible for the maintenance and update of customer programs. Responsible for the following administration relating to Marketing and Management: Communication to all franchise networks. Managing all Franchisee Agreements documents. Administration and control of Marketing Order Books. Taking of Minutes of meetings. Follow-ups of on Marketing/Fleet events and activities. Manage the distribution of point-of-sale material distribution and usage by Franchisee and internal staff. Diary management for the Marketing Manager. Administration of the online training programme. Detailed planning in order to implement and maintain system and filing integrity. Ordering and distribution of stationary requirements for Marketing, Sales and Fleet. Any other tasks deemed important as determined by its management. Works under supervision with regular formal and informal meetings with Marketing Manager. Detailed short and mid-term planning as required by tasks. Deadlines in the role includes: Weekly & monthly task updates. Regular stock takes as determined by management. Routine deadlines with regular feedback to Marketing Manager. This position requires road travel and possible travel to other regions within South Africa. Irregular working hours, irregular weekends are required for events. A relevant Marketing qualification is essential. A minimum of 3 years marketing administration at corporate level. Competent in social media marketing Competent digital content creation using Adobe. Advanced level Ms Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Must have valid drivers license, own reliable vehicle. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Sound planning and organisational skills. Rneg based on experience Apply Now
