Christian Art Distributors currently has a vacancy for a In-house Marketing Designer – Team Lead , to be based fulltime at our Head Office in Vereeniging (Vaal Triangle) , within the Wholesale and Retail sector. Join our team as an in-house marketing designer, creating visuals that align with the company's brand guidelines for print and online. This role demands a blend of creativity, attention to detail, technical proficiency in design software, and the ability to maximize the potential of the design team. Responsibilities Designing and producing marketing material for our brick-and-mortar retail stores. Creating web banners, email newsletters, social media ads, and display ads for our online channels. Managing the design schedule in line with the promotional calendar. Supervising a team. Procuring quotes and generating purchase orders. Managing the print production budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation. Qualifications • BA-degree in Graphic Design or equivalent tertiary qualifications. Experience • Demonstrate 5 years of proven experience in a Graphic Design role. Key Competencies • Have experience in leading a small team of creatives. • Fluent in Afrikaans and English. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). • Comfortable working with both Mac OS and Windows operating systems. • Have excellent knowledge of design principles, typography, and layout. • Show proven experience with print and digital mediums. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Understanding of branding and the ability to apply brand guidelines in all designs. • Stay current with industry developments and possess knowledge of current design trends. • A self-motivated individual willing to take challenges and have the ability to motivate others.
